Frequently asked questions
How do I get the PDFs after I buy?
You'll get a download link in your receipt email immediately after checkout. The link stays active — you can re-download anytime.
Can I print the books?
Yes. Both books are formatted to print cleanly at standard letter size, and the printable appendices are designed to look great on your fridge or in a binder.
What ages are these books for?
Try It, Then Say No is optimized for parents of kids ages 2–8. From Touchscreens to Touching Grass works for ages 3–10. Older kids benefit too — the frameworks scale up.
Is this a subscription?
No. One-time purchase. You own the PDFs forever, plus lifetime updates when we improve them.
What's the difference between the bundle and buying separately?
The bundle is $19 for both books (individually $15 each = $30). It also includes a bundle-only bonus, The 5-Word Script That Ends Dinnertime Fights.
My kid has sensory issues / is autistic / has a feeding disorder. Will this help?
Try It, Then Say No is a general framework, not a clinical intervention. Many parents of neurodivergent kids have used the ideas alongside their existing therapy. It's not a substitute for a feeding therapist, but the language and the one-bite structure often help.
Do you have a refund policy?
Yes — 30 days, no questions. Reply to your receipt email. See our full refund policy.
Do you have anything for teenagers?
Not yet. These books cover 2–10. A guide for tween/teen dynamics is on the roadmap.
Are these based on research or personal experience?
Both. Trent is a father of two, not a clinician. He read the research so you don't have to — and the books cite where it's coming from. What you're getting is what actually worked when tested against real family exhaustion.
Can I gift these to another parent?
Yes. Forward the download link, or email us and we'll send it directly to them with a personal note.
